Ericsson joins DOSA

According to EEtimes, Ericsson Power Modules has joined Distributed Open Standards Alliance.
Other participants in the DOSA alliance are Tyco Electronics Power Systems, SynQor Inc., Celestica Power Systems, Lambda, and Delta Electronics. Ericsson´s PKU4000 series of 1/16 brick isolated converters will be the companys first DOSA-compatible products.

Tyco and SynQor established DOSA in February 2004. The main reason was to form standards in power converter form factors, footprints, feature sets, and functions for both isolated and non-isolated point-of-load converters, EEtimes reported.
