Apple choose Qualcomm over Infineon?
According to Engadget.com, Apple may ditch Infineon over Qualcomm to manufacture chipset for its coming devices.
By choosing Qualcomm the devices can run on both CDMA as well as GSM. It is still not clear if the chipset will be based on the EV-DO / HSPA Gobi variety or on a new design.
