Foxconn to build HP PCs in Turkey

Taiwanese EMS giant Foxconn plans to start producing desktop computers for Hewlett Packard at its newely built plant in Corlu, Tekirdag, Turkey.
The order value is 60 million USD and the delivery starts in January 2011, local sources claims. Foxconn plans to produce 250-300.000 desktop computers for HP until the fourth quarter 2011. The computers wil be delivered from Turkey to Eastern Europe, Middle East and North Africa.
