Flextronics to diversify portfolio further
EMS-provider Flextronics aims to further diversify its service portfolio. Infrastructure will remain strong, but Mobile will have moved down to 3. place.
The segment Mobile was with 30% the biggest in fiscal 2007, followed by Infrastructure (21%) and Consumer Digital (17%). Although all 3 segments will still represent a major part of Flextronics’ portfolio in fiscal 2011, its percentages will have changed: Infrastructure (26%), Mobile (14%) and Consumer Digital (10%).
The biggest portfolio change however will be made in Computing, where the EMS-provider moves from a mere 4% to 15% in fiscal 2011.
