Qimonda plant in China sold

Suzhou Venture Group, a Chinese state owned venture capitalist has bought Qimonda's DRAM module assembly facility in China.
The facility is based in Suzhou Industrial Park. The new owner will integrate the plant in Gerad Technologies. Gerad employes about 800 workers and has Winbond Electronics among its largest customers, according to DigiTimes.
