The contract consists of new control system of Pilsen card (FareOn application), which will provide complete administration of card life cycle. The system is dimensioned for 1,5 million cards, 100 self service zones, 100 points of sale, 20 personification centres and 50 000 transactions a day.

Beside the standard parameters the system enables support of different card systems of various card issuers or possibility of card recharging via internet application. The contract was originally signed with a competing company. However, after a year the transport operator decided to address Mikroelektronika do develop the system.
