Large LCD investment in China
Chinese based TCL has stared the construction of a new 600,000 square meters big LCD production facility in China.
The investment is worth approximately $ 3,6 billion and the production area will be 600,000 square meters. The plant will have a capacity of 14 million LCD panels per year. TCL will start operating at the facility in August this year, with mass production expected to start in late 2011.
