LG Electronics to increase on EMS and ODM
LG Electronics plans to outsource 12-14 million handsets to ODMs and 10 million units to EMS providers this year.
This new outsourcing policy is expected to benefit mostly Taiwan based Arima Communications and Foxconn, according to Digitimes.
LG Electronics is looking for a higher growth this year of 25-30% and the company expect its handset shipment to reach 150-160 million units.
