Ultra Electronics teams with Raytheon
Ultra Electronics has announce that a teaming agreement has been signed with Raytheon Technical Services Company.
The agreement that have been signed is to pursue the BRU-69/A Multi-Purpose bomb rack program for the U.S. Navy, Naval Air Systems Command.
The Multi-Purpose Bomb Rack (MPBR) is a twin-store, non-pyrotechnic carriage system that will replace several legacy bomb racks currently deployed on the F/A-18 E/F.
Raytheon selected Ultra Precision Air Systems because they have "demonstrated an outstanding track record of delivering reliable, high performance pneumatic products for the U.S. Navy and NAVAIR. Their High Pressure Pure Air Generator (HiPPAGTM) products have clearly distinguished Ultra as the world leader for reliability and ease of maintenance," states Wayne Iurillo, vice president of RTSC’s Customized Engineering and Depot Support business unit.
"Ultra is delighted to be selected as Raytheon’s strategic partner for this program and it continues a relationship with Raytheon successfully developing weapons carriage systems for the U.S. Navy, which started in 1994" said Andy Yates, Managing Director of Precision Air Systems.
