Merix plans to boost European sales
US based advanced Printed Circuit Board maker Merix Corp., plans to increase its European precence within the quick turn prototype segment.
Merix currently has a market cap of 10 per cent of the total Europan PCB market, according to the web edition of Sweden based magazine Elektroniktidningen, which also pointed out Ericsson, Cisco, Motorola, Bosch and TRW as main customers. Mike Burger, CEO of Merix told the magazine the company now intends to increase its market share on the European market.
Merix with plants in the US and China, generataes annual sales of 35-40 million US dollar on the European market. Merix total revenue was 378 million US dollar in 2008.
