Foxconn: 2 million notebooks for Asustek in 2009
The EMS-giant Foxconn plans to manufacture around 2 milion notebooks for Asustek this year.
EMS-provider Foxconn is to manufacture around 2 million notebooks for Asustek this year, reports DigiTimes. This comes from Asustek's announcement to hand out 30% of its notebook production to makers other than Pegatron Technology. This means that the new manufacturing order will hand Foxconn a notebook OEM volume total of 4 million units in 2009, the report continues.
