Enics lays off 65 in Finland

EMS provider Enics lays off 65 staff at their site in Vasa, Finland.
This has been confirmed today as negotiations between management and union representatives finished. Additional to the 65 workers a further 20 part-time workers will be laid off by next year. A further 7 employees will be retiring and leave the company.

Enics employs around 700 staff in Finland. The company has facilities in Vasa, Lohjo and Varkaus. This is complemented by facilities in China, Sweden, Slovakia, Switzerland and Estonia. Enics employs a total of 2700 employees.
