French EMS providers shows no<br>interest over Flextronics, Canéjan
French EMS providers not interested to take over Flextronics Canéjan (former Solectron) plant.
According to local media in France, local EMS-providers Lacroix, Asteel, Cofidur and Oléane have showed no interest in taking over Flextronics (former Solectron) plant in Canéjan, Gironde, Usinenouvelle reports. evertiq.com has previously reported that Flextronics’ (former Solectron) plant in Canéjan plans to cease operation. This announcement came out 10 days after Solectron was taken over by Flextronics. More than 500 jobs are in danger at the Canjan plant.
