Man who killed a security guard at Solectron got death sentence

A Lexington County jury has returned a guilty verdict against Ron Finklea, a man who killed the security guard Walter Sykes in West Columbia back in 2003. The security guard worked at Solectron in West Columbia. Finklea, the man who now have received the sentence, shot Sykes, then covered him and the control room with gasoline and set them on fire. Finklea's 26 year old brother was also prosecuted.
