Another SpaceX rocket in flames

A Space X Falcon9 rocket has reportedly just exploded while still on the launch pad at Cape Canaveral.
The rocket was scheduled to take off on Saturday and was supposed to deliver social media company Facebook’s first satellite to orbit – the Amos-6 communication satellite, reports TechCrunch.

Eyewitnesses report – and tweet – that the rocket just blew up while on pad and shook our nearby buildings.

The status of the payload is still unknown. Facebook and French satellite provider Eutelsat have invested USD 95 million in a five year lease on the satellite’s Ka-band communication array.
