Intel shuts down UK design centre

Intel is closing a design centre in Glasgow, Scotland leaving 17 workers.
The centre develops Ethernet technology, voice and network processors. Intel acquired the centre from Level One in 1999. This is part of an ongoing restructuring of Intel's global business.
