Plexus now a trusted supplier for the US department of defense

Plexus' wholly owned subsidiary, Plexus Aerospace, Defense and Security Services, has received accreditation as a Microelectronics Trusted Source by the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA).
This accreditation is a part of the Department of Defense (DoD) Trusted Source Program and officially recognises the company as a trusted supplier of microelectronics goods and services to end users within the United States government.

Joseph Adams, Vice President of Operations – Americas commented, "The Trusted Source Program was established to assess and verify the integrity of the companies that design, develop, manufacture and distribute critical national security microelectronics components. Plexus is honored to be among the few companies to receive this accreditation."

Dan Lewis, Vice President for Plexus' Defense/Security/Aerospace Market Sector commented, "Trusted supplier status is a key element of our business strategy. This accreditation is not only a major milestone for Plexus but it also confirms our continued commitment to providing our customers with trusted and reliable microelectronics services for the military's mission critical applications."

Plexus Aerospace, Defense and Security Services, LLC has been awarded Category 1A trusted source accreditation for packaging and assembly services at its Boise Microelectronics Center of Excellence in Nampa, Idaho.
