Micronic receives Asian order
Micronic Laser Systems AB today received an order for an LRS15000 laser pattern generator from an Asian customer.
"The display market remains strong with the most significant growth in the LCD TV area," said Sven Lofquist, president and CEO of Micronic. "The LRS15000 system meets the technological requirements for latest-generation display fabs, which mainly manufacture LCD TVs. Photomask makers require additional capacity to meet strong demand and shorten photomask lead times, and thus continue their expansion.
