Orbit One closing Kalix-site

Orbit Ones unit in Kalix, North of Sweden, will be closed down and production moved to Stockholm and Ronneby. The unit in Kalix has existed since 2005 and the focus has been production of medical products. 37 employees, including 3 temporary employees, will be affected by the closing. Negotiations with the unions has started and the staff will be offered new work in other units belonging to Orbit One. The closure is part of a strategy to secure the company's competitiveness and to consolidate its operations.
