Fairchild introduces new website

Fairchild Semiconductor has launched a new web site delivering one-click access to dynamic, in-depth product, application and design tool information - providing designers self-service solutions to their power system design challenges.
At www.fairchildsemi.com users will find numerous capabilities including:


* Smart Search, an intelligent web-based search engine, integrating multiple databases to provide customers with fast, streamlined results;

* Application block diagram pages covering the automotive, communication, computing, consumer, industrial, ultra-portable and power supply market segments - all populated with technical information;

* Design tools including FETBench, Motor Drive Solutions, Offline SMPS Design, Power Factor Correction and ACExT controllers;

* Online seminars providing customers with sophisticated training on video and power topics;

* Fairchild Direct, a web-based purchasing capability, providing global online purchasing to shorten time-to-market requirements;
