Plexus: Revenue fell 6 percent

The healthcare business, which makes X-Ray imaging and other products, was the company's second-biggest revenue generator in the third quarter ended June. Revenue in the business rose 12 percent to USD 142 million. For the 3Q, the EMS-provider reported on a revenue decrease of 6%. Revenue reached USD 571.9 million (relative to the company's guidance of USD 550 to 580 million). Net income fell to USD 23.2 million in the third quarter from USD 23.5 million a year earlier. Plexus forecast fourth-quarter revenue of $545 million-$575 million.
