Lenovo starts US adventure

Now - according to Gartner and IDC - the largest PC manufacturer in the world, Lenovo is taking 'Made in the USA' rather seriously it would seem. While most electronics giants see Asian manufacturing operations as a 'Must Have', off-shoring becomes the reality. Whilst Lenovo is holding fast to the concept of 'off-shoring', it is a different region they had in mind. Apple - with its long time manufacturing partner Foxconn - and Google - also availing itself of Foxconn's manufacturing strength - have recently announced plans to do limited manufacturing in the U.S. So the future might hold more manufacturing for the US and Apple gadgets marked "Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China" could get company from "Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in the USA".
