Sumitomo Electric opens plant in Romania

Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems has opened a new production unit in Caransebes, Romania, set to create 1,500 new jobs.
The new factory will focus on the production of electric cables and is the result of an 8.3 million euros investment according to the news agency Business24. Hiring for jobs are expected to begin in July 2012.
