Foxconn to cut 600 jobs in Slovakia

Local Slovakian newspaper Hospodarske Noviny has reported that Foxconn will cut up to 600 jobs at its liquid-crystal display factory in Nitra, Western Slovakia.
The cuts are due to weakening demand, the paper reported, and will leave the factory with 1,800 employees.
