Compal is Nokia's partner for Windows phone
Taiwan-based ODM Compal is manufacturing partner for Nokia's smartphone hope: the Windows Phone 7 Mango.
Mango is expected to launch officially on September 1, 2011 and Compal is rumoured to start shipping devices to Nokia in September too. The Taiwan-based company is reportedly to ship around 2 million smartphone Windows Phone 7 devices to Nokia during 4Q/2011.
Nokia World is scheduled for end of October and the most likely platform for the market launch of the new phones.
However, volume shipments of Mango devices are expected for 2012.
