Foxconn: What more to say

On Wednesday night yet another young Foxconn employee jumped to his death.

The official Xinhua news agency reports that an initial police investigation into this latest death said it was a suicide. The young man—23 years old—jumped from the balcony of a dormitory in Shenzhen (China). He started work at the EMS-provider in June last year. This is now the 10th death by jumping since the beginning of the year alone (+2 attempts) at the facility, drawing wide media coverage on low cost manufacturing and working conditions in these regions.
