Flextronics unit to hire 2000 per week
EMS provider's Flextronics largest production unit in Zhuhai, China expects a double digit revenue growth this year.
Last year the facility did a 20% drop in revenue but as the economy is picking up, Flextronics expects strong orders in April, Digitimes reported.
As the order level is rising the unit will also have to hire more than 2000 employees per week in April. The total work force today at this facility is approximately 44.000 people but the company is expecting to increase this number to 55.000 - 60.000, according to the report.
This unit's clients includes Dell, HP, Lenovo, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Microsoft.
