Flextronics sees increased component shortage
The EMS-provider Flextronics is currently experiencing component shortage.
Flextronics' CEO Mike McNamara told analyst in yesterday's earnings call that the company "could have shipped more revenue last quarter had we not had any [component shortage], according to seeking alpha. The component shortages really are not just in mobile, but they are somewhat across the board."
According to him, Flextronics is currently 'chasing a number of different parts' and he expects that to change probably during the next quarter.
