Agilent's chip unit sold
KKR and Silver Lake has won an auction to acquire Agilent's chip unit.
According to Wall Street Journal, Private Equity firms Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Silver Lake Partners together placed the winning bid for Agilent Technologies' semiconductor unit. According to sources, the bid was about 2.6 billion US Dollar.
