Elcoteq to shed 700 in Hungary
Finland based EMS provider Elcoteq is laying off 700 employees in Hungary.
The facility that will be affected is the Pesc plant in Hungary which currently has 4200 employees. The main reason for the lays offs is reduced customer orders. The company can not maintain its existing number of employees.
