Aeroflex to place bid on UbiNetics
US based Aeroflex Incorporated has announced a proposed purchase of UK based UbiNetics for $81 million in cash, EETimes reports.
UbiNetics is specialized in testing of wireless communications equipment and networks. Aeroflex said that a definitive agreement has not been signed. Aeroflex believe that there is a significant synergy between the SPG Test and Measurement group within UbiNetics and Aeroflex's Test Solutions division, according to EETimes.
