Thales lands two major contracts

French OEM firm Thales wins thermal imaging system deal from UK Ministry of Defence and a contract for train signalling gear in Bulgaria.
French defence group Thales’ British subsidiary Thales UK has won a contract of undisclosed value to supply the UK Ministry of Defence with a further 16 Battle Group Thermal Imaging systems for installation on the British army's Scimitar armoured vehicles, Hemscott reported.

Also, Thales and Alcatel-Lucent have won a contract worth 36 million Euros to supply the Bulgarian State Railways with rail-signalling and telecommunications gear, according to CNN.
