Flextronics and NSN open plant in Brazil to target 4G

Nokia Siemens Networks will open a facility in Brazil, enlisting Flextronics to build 4G mobile phone networks.

Reuters reports that Ken Wirth, head of the Americas region for Nokia Siemens, said in an interview that the facility would begin shipping 4G wireless equipment by October.

He did not disclose how much Flextronics or NSN invested in the venture.
