Strong earthquake off the coast of Japan - tsunami warning issued

A warning for an initial tsunami wave of one meter was issued for the coast of Miyagi Prefecture in northeastern Japan, the same area that was hit by the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami, writes Reuters. Update: All tsunami warnings have been cancelled, reports the Japan Meteorological Agency.
