IONOS and Q.ANT plan cloud deployment for photonic AI servers

The German cloud provider IONOS and Stuttgart-based photonic chip developer Q.ANT plan to bring photonic AI servers into commercial cloud infrastructures. This is according to a press release from Q.ANT dated May 19. The partnership is intended to prepare the first commercial deployment of Q.ANT's Native Processing servers in data centers. The companies are thus addressing the rising energy demands of AI workloads and the call for European hardware sovereignty
