Price fixing admitted by Hynix
According to purchasing.com Hynix Semiconductor has agreed to plead guilty for price fixing.
Hynix have between April 1999 and June 2002 been conspiring with other companies by phones, faxes, e-mail and face-to-face meetings. Hynix Semiconductor will now have to pay a fine of $185 million. Dell, HP, IBM, Gateway and not to forget the customers have been affected by the price fixing and have been forced to pay higher prices for computers and other electronic products.
