Motorola plans to sell German plant

Mobile phone maker Motorola plans to sell its Flensburg plant in Germany do to declining market share.

Peter Harry Carstensen, minister president of the state of Schleswig-Holstein, has presented plans to the management of Motorola to save the facility. He presented a model of how most of the jobs could be saved and no external company would be involved. No details of the result have been declared. Currently the plant employs approximately 900 people. The company was not available for a comment.
