UK starts plastic electronics research center
UK has established a national centre for nanotechnology.
UK has established a centre called Cenamps, a PETeC, a £10 million (about $20 million) plastics electronics technology center at Sedgefield, near Durham, England.
PETeC is expected to become a national prototyping operation providing clean rooms and laboratories, as well as production and testing equipment which will be available on an open access basis.
"This center will provide a bridge between the lab and the factory to facilitate the commercialization of new products," said Mike Pitkethly, CEO of Cenamps, in a statement.
