Panasonic starts SMT-equipment ops in Singapore
Panasonic Factory Solutions has transferred the latest technology of making printed circuit board assembly equipment to Singapore, ChannelNews Asia reports.
The production was transferred to Singapore from Japan to meet customers' needs within the region. Singapore is Panasonic's only manufacturing site outside Japan for SMT-machines. The production will start in July. Panasonic has a market share of 30% in the global SMT market.
