Icon Electronics buys out GSPK Electronics
Sources told evertiq that former UK-based EMS-provider GSPK Electronics Limited now has new owners.
The subsidiary of GSPK with 100 employees went into administration last month when one of its largest customers, in Germany, was unable to pay its bills on time. evertiq has learned that the administrators have sold the Knaresborough-based firm to Icon Electronics Ltd, a new company formed especially to do the deal.
According to evertiq's sources Icon Electronics Ltd and GSPK Electronics will issue a joint statement next week. More information will be provided then.
