Foxconn about to acquire stake in LG Philips LCD?

According to Chinese-language Central News Agency the world's largest EMS provider Foxconn would be interested in taking over a stake of the LCD panel maker LG.Philips LCD. Foxconns plans in taking over a stake in the LCD maker should be connected to Philips plans of making its stake in the joint venture smaller. Foxconn would reportedly take up a 10-15% stake in the Korea-based panel maker, according to market rumors cited in a Chinese-language Central News Agency report.
