Laird Technologies sets up research lab in India

Laird Technologies has established a corporate research facility in Bangalore, India that will focus on the development of materials for use in electronic components and systems. Over 400 people will be working at the new research centre. "We have strong R&D organizations in each of our businesses and we will continue to drive innovation within our businesses via dedicated R&D teams. Our new Corporate Research Laboratory will focus on longer-term research in materials and products that will enable step-change improvements in our current and future products, as well as develop products that are multi-functional in nature", Rick Rothenberger, Technology Vice President of Laird Technologies, commented.
