Foxconn may enter motherboard ODM market
According to Taiwan-based system makers, Foxconn plans to enter the motherboard ODM market for notebooks.
The company is currently recruiting an R&D team from the notebook industry. Foxconn plans to target staff at second tier PC makers such as Arima Computer, Uniwill Computer, and Micro-Star International (MSI). Staff from Gigabyte Technology's a R&D department is planning to join Foxconn. The company refused to give any comments.
