Flextronics to sell Swedish unit
Sweden based Prevas, a developer of intelligence in products and industrial systems, buys the embedded systems unit from Flextronics International.
13 engineers in the area of telecommunication will be transferred from the Flextronics unit in Stockholm to Prevas through this deal which will be completed on April 1. After this deal, Prevas has a work force of 350 staff in Sweden. Flextronics bought this unit from Swedish embedded firm BlueLabs a couple of years ago. Prevas paid an unknown cash amount for this unit.
