Foxconn lands Huaewi CPE-order
Foxconn International Holdings will manufacture broadband CPE (customer premise equipment) products for China-based Huawei Technologies.
The cooperation will allow Huawei to compete more efficiently with customers like Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia-Siemens. Noting that Foxconn is likely to produce is ADSL modems and IPTV set-top boxes for Huawei initially. This was reported by DigiTiems citing Commercial Times quoted Huawei sources as saying in a March 9 report.
