REACH will hit electronics company`s
REACH is expected to have large impact on the electronics industry as it comes into force in June this year.
According to Kate Geraghty, head of electronics at consultancy WSP Environmental, “REACH will have a very, very significant impact for the electronics industry, in terms of materials and products."
The so-called REACH directive requires all businesses to supply information about chemicals that they use. The companies will have to analyse what products they produce, import, distribute or use on a daily basis.
