Data Modul acquires Open Electronics

The flat panel display provider Data Modul AG has through the acquisition of the French distributor Open Electronics now gained access to the French market which was one of the main purposes with the acquisition. Open Electronics has now changed name to Data Modul France S.A.R.L. and Jérôme Bly has been appointed as new General Manager. "We talk about sales in the middle-to-high single digit million range", Data Modul's CFO Patrick Wiedemann revealed anout the company's future sales projections. "We do have a pretty similar mix of investment goods vendors, targeting at info terminals, measurement technology and signage applications", he added.
