Electro-Recycling plant to be built in Hungary

Hungarian Electro-Recycling Group plans to build a 40 million Euro recycling facility for waste electronic equipment in Bátonyterenye, northeast Hungary.

Construction of the facility, to be the first investment at the city's industrial park, will start in September and it will begin operating in early 2007. The facility will disassemble and recycle 5,000 tons of waste electronic equipment in its first year and double that amount afterward. The facility will have up to 100 employees.
