Replisaurus raises $14 million

Swedish wafer processing equipment startup Replisaurus Technologies has raised $14 million from Wellington Partners and Northzone Ventures.

Seed investors KTH Seed Capital, FBBB (FöretagsByggarna) and Aumar - The Sixth AP Fund also joined the new investors. Vinnova, the Swedish government agency for supporting innovation in the country, earlier this year awarded Replisaurus $500,000 for its R&D operations. These new fundings will be used to commercialize Replisaurus ECPR (ElectroChemical Pattern Replication) technology. As part of these investments Bart Markus from from Wellington Partners and Bjorn Stray from Northzone Ventures will take place at Replisaurus board of directors. "The market opportunity in the advanced packaging space is exceptional" said Markus from Wellington Partners. "The superior characteristics of Replisaurus' technology along with the excellent team told us that Replisaurus will be a leader in this field", he added. Replisaurus has also appointed James Quinn as CEO and board member.
