KKR looks to win Philips semiconductor unit
According to CNN Money Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and Silver Lake Partners appear to have won an auction for Philips Electronics chip unit.
The price is believed to be more than €8 billion, Wall Strett Journal Reports. KKR and Silver Lake Partners beat out two other bidding groups. No comments have been made from KKR and Silver Lake.
